Our Team

Greg is Global Head of Asset Management of ICG Real Estate and provides global leadership across asset and fund management, debt capital markets, as well as portfolio finance and operational functions.
Greg joined ICG from Goldman Sachs, where he was most recently Global COO for the Real Estate Group within the Asset and Wealth Management Division. He previously led the Realty Management Division in Europe and Asia, and was CFO of the European Special Situations Group. Greg has over 25 years of experience at Goldman across multiple divisions, regions and leadership positions, having joined as an Analyst in 1998.
Greg holds a BA in Economics from Fordham University.

Luca joined ICG Real Estate in March 2021 as a Principal in the Metropolitan strategy. Previously, he spent five years at The Baupost Group as a Principal in the European Real Estate team, leading transactions, building partner relationships, and managing UK development projects exceeding £4bn GDV, as well as REIT coverage across Europe. Before Baupost, Luca worked at Victory Advisors, executing Benelux deals worth ~€1.5bn. He began his career at J.P. Morgan in London in M&A.
With 10 years’ pan-European real estate investment experience, Luca holds a Bachelor in Economics and Finance and an MSc in Quantitative Finance (cum laude) from Bocconi University.

Before co-founding Axel, Peter worked for 7 years at Oxenwood Real Estate as Head of Asset Management, where he built and ran the asset management platforms for Joint Ventures with Apollo and AIMCO. Peter led the implementation of best-in-class reporting, technology stacks and financial management across all JV partnerships. Peter has deep tenant relationships in the logistics sector, as well as industry-leading expertise in power supplies and electric vehicles. Peter formerly held roles at the Strategic Investment Advisory team at Savills and the Ethical Property Company. He graduated from Nottingham University and holds a masters in Real Estate from LSBU. He is an MRICS Chartered Member.

Tom has over 16 years of investment experience with a primary focus on logistics. Prior to co-founding Axel, Tom worked for 7 years at Oxenwood Real Estate where he was responsible for pan-European origination, financing and structuring of their wholly-owned and joint-venture logistics portfolios. Tom’s transaction experience includes corporate investments, asset and portfolio acquisitions, across core plus, value-add and opportunistic strategies. Prior to Oxenwood, Tom spent four years at Great Portland Estates plc, a UK listed REIT specialising in central London office investment. Tom holds an MEng in Engineering from Durham University and MSc in Real Estate Investment from Cass Business School.

Chris has over 11 years of experience in commercial real estate and joined Axel following 3 years with Oxenwood Real Estate as Head of Finance in their UK and European logistics platforms. Prior to this, he was Fund Controller on the multi asset class pan European structures of Tristan Capital Partners, with a focus on both opportunistic and core plus strategies. Chris began his career in real estate with Eskmuir Properties, the private investment vehicle of the Laing family. Chris is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. He holds a Masters in Economics from Glasgow University.

From 2016 until joining Axel, Elena worked as Chief of Staff in a large UHNWI family office, where her primary areas of responsibility were finance, operations and HR. Prior to this, Elena worked in operations at an international trading company. Elena graduated with distinction from Udmurt University with an MA in Linguistics and International Relations and speaks Russian, French and Spanish. More recently she completed courses at LSE and a Management Development programme at Wharton School of UPenn.

Before joining Axel, Chris worked for 7 years at Tristan Capital Partners where he was a Director of Fund Finance. Chris worked across opportunistic and core plus strategies on the multi asset class, pan European structures of Tristan Capital Partners, focussing on fund financial control, portfolio management and operations. Prior to Tristan, Chris began his career at Ernst & Young, London in the Real Estate audit department. Chris is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He holds a Masters in Natural Sciences from University College London.

Isaac has joined the Finance Team following almost 4 years of experience at KPMG LLP where he reached the level of Audit Assistant Manager. During his time at KPMG, he had a client portfolio ranging from Real Estate, Technology and Telecommunications primarily. Isaac is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Law and further holds a MSc in Law and Finance with Distinction from the University of Leeds.

Kendyl has 8 years of experience in real estate investments across all asset classes. Prior to Axel, Kendyl spent 5 years at Round Hill Capital, where she was responsible for leading investment strategies with joint venture partners including Blackstone and Starwood. Kendyl has experience managing all aspects of the investment cycle, including developments, large-scale value-add initiatives, financings, and dispositions. Prior to Round Hill, Kendyl worked for Prologis in the US, focusing on Logistics investments.

Kendyl holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and a MSc in Finance from European Business School (EBS).

Max has over 7 years of asset management experience and joined Axel following 2 years at Patrizia as Associate Director in the asset management team focusing on industrial and logistics assets. Prior to this, he worked at Mileway/M7 for over 3 years as an asset manager covering multi-let and single let logistics assets. Max also has experience in renewable energy projects, electric vehicle chargers and major industrial development projects.

Max is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds a BSc in Investment and Finance in Property from the University of Reading.

Before joining Axel, Hugo worked at Roebuck as Investment Associate and was responsible for origination and underwriting of pan-European logistics transactions across open-storage, last mile and big box sub-sectors. Hugo holds an BSc in Real Estate from University of Reading and holds an MPhil in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cambridge

Alex has 7 years of commercial real estate investment experience with a focus on European logistics. After starting his career in the German acquisitions team of a London-based family office, Alex joined Hillwood, a major US-based developer of logistics assets. Alex contributed to the expansion of Hillwood's European business into a leading logistics platform, with an annual development volume of 8m SF and annual equity deployments of c. $1bn, covering the German, Polish, and UK markets. Most recently, Alex held a position in the Real Estate Financing Group at Goldman Sachs. Alex is a German native and holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Oxford.

Hanna has over three years of investment experience and joined Axel following 2 years at Marchmont Investment Management, where she focused on industrial and logistics assets with a development angle. Prior to this, she worked at ICAMAP, a French private equity fund specialising in commercial real estate. Hanna also has experience in sourcing new investment opportunities and trading listed REITs. Hanna holds an MSc in Investment and Wealth Management from Imperial College Business School.

Dan has over 7 years of asset management experience and joined Axel following an 18-month period working on his own consultancy business. Prior to this, he held roles at Canmoor and Mileway over a 5-year period as an asset manager covering multi-let and single let logistics assets. Dan also has experience in sourcing new investment opportunities and overseeing major development and refurbishment projects.

Dan qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2018 and holds a BSc in Real Estate from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle.
